〃What　news？〃

〃The　news　about　the　door。〃

Barnes　laughed　uneasily。　〃Harry；　I　just　got　through　telling　you　that　the　divers　are　cutting　exploratory　trenches；　looking　for　the　door…〃

Barnes　said　nothing。　He　stood　with　a　fixed　smile　on　his　face。
